Cup: "Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth"

Part of the "Letters of Light" (Huroof Al-Noor) collection, cups celebrating Arabic calligraphy and sacred texts, produced in limited numbers by hand by artists.

The Concept:

This cup belongs to the "Letters of Light" collection, which celebrates the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy and sacred texts. The work relies on abstract forming rather than drawing the letters, preserving the sanctity of the text and the luminous aura the owner senses upon touching it. This edition was inspired by the verse:

{ اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ نُورٌ عَلَى نُورٍ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ } [النور:35]

The cup is handmade from clay by a specialized artist, with strict attention to detail and quality of execution.

Only 100 handmade copies.

Cup Size:

60mm, suitable for espresso and Arabic coffee.
